Established in 1999, we are Vincennes’ oldest and most renowned tattoo and piercing studio. For over two decades, we have been dedicated to delivering first-class tattoos and piercings to our community.

Our reputation was built on offering exceptional services, including our famous $5 body piercings. 

The $5 piercings initially began as fierce competitive strategy between Altered Image and another shop that is now no longer in business . 

Little did we know that so many peoole would flock to Altered Image from all over the Tri-state to come check out “ The $5 piercing place .“  , and that Altered Image would become such a meca to which so many people travel to.

However, with the onset of COVID-19 and the rising costs of gloves and other supplies, we had to bid farewell to our $5 piercing days.

Despite this change, we continue to offer the most affordable body piercing prices in the entire tri-state area. Additionally, our studio is home to several talented tattoo artists ready to assist you with all your body art needs.
